Director Spike Lee is proud to be at the Venice Film Festival 2012 to receive 2012 Jaeger-Le Coultre Glory to the Filaker, and to present his brand new documentary, “Bad 25”.
The movie is a celebration of Michael Jackson’s masterpiece album, out 25 years ago, after direction of the last biopic of the popstar, “This is it”.
The amazing documentary is divided into two things: artists today who were influenced by Michael, and then people who worked side by side, musicians, songwriters, technicians, engineers, people at the label, who were all committed to Michael, to the follow-up to the biggest record of all time, which still is Thriller. A few of the interviewees where: Mariah Carey, L.A. Reid, Sheryl Crow (background singer on the Bad tour).
