A great goal for four established artists taking part in one of the most regarded art fairs in the world.
Four cartoonists, Alberto Corradi, Diavù (Davide Vecchiato), Massimo Giacon and Ale Giorgini, one project: from the 7th to the 10th of March the quartet will develop and perform live the forthcoming show QU4TTRO (four), soon to be hosted in May inside Museion Bozen-Bolzano, the Bolzano's Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art. The artists will be at work at the stand of La Repubblica XL magazine. Their works will then be on sale online on the gallery’s website, MondoPOP International Gallery (http://www.mondopop.it/main.php?view=exhibitions&id=67).
This occasion gives the rare opportunity to observe the entire experience of the making of a piece of artwork and the steps that lead to it getting displayed in a prestigious venue. Faber-Castell has sponsored the quest donating all the necessary materials from pencils, to felt-tip pens and much more. The four artists have the challenge of using to the very last drop of ink, lead, and miscellaneous materials, the tools of their sponsor. Just a few more days and we’ll find out if they fulfilled the task. In the meantime those in Milan should grasp the occasion of entering the POP-ular Cartoon World from the moment of its creation, by visiting the live performance of these exceptional artists.
