“Henri Cartier Bresson – images & words” is an unique exhibition started on January 19, 2012, at Palazzo Incontro in Roma, promoted by Nicola Zingaretti, President of the Province of Rome.
The exhibition has been organized by Henri Cartier Bresson Fundation, Contrasto and Magnum Photos and it will be visited till may 6th, in the heart of the Italian capital city.
44 art pictures by the icon photographer, in black & white, with comments by Baricco, Gombrich, Miller, Scianna, Steinberg, Varda, Balthus, Aulenti, Kundera, Jarmusch, Ciordan and Sciascia, in order to celebrate HCB’ anniversary. With critics, artists, writers and photographers of today and of the past.
An original and melancholic view into the World, from the people to the places, focusing on daily things to intensify their metaphorical meaning: from the power of communication to its role.
