Luca Bertaglia is a drummer, composer, arranger, educator, session drummer, band-leader, freelance and professional musician. Born in the province of Rovigo, in the town of Adria, Luca grew up listening to vinyl records and playing his percussions, from a very early age.

After a variety of experiences, within the Italian music scene, the drummer boy set off to pursue his American Dream in 2013. New York City, gave Bertaglia the chance to specialise in diverse music styles, mostly at The Collective School of Music. Today Luca is a musician who has the ability to switch genres very easily and is acquainted with all the studio structure of the record industry. He played in several cover, original and tribute bands and as session drummer for different artists such as Black Hole, Outside Lines, F.L.E.M.M.A., Redheads, IM Drum Ensemble, Attika, The Motor Tom, Alarke, GipsyJazz Project, Courtney & The Boyz, Astra The 22’s, KFo, Jonathan Kalb, Greater Liberty Temple’s Band.

Bertaglia is also band-leader of his own project with whom he is recording his first solo album. In 2014, 2015 and 2016 the song “Elizabeth Browning” , from his band The Motor Tom, has been used as soundtrack for several TV and Internet Series and Websites such as “The Affair”,“Darknet”, “CMF” and “Super Channel”.
