Cinema Made In Italy
Experience the Italian film renaissance
Ciné Lumière 5 – 9 March 2014
After winning the prestigious Golden Globe and BAFTA awards for best foreign language film, Paolo Sorrentino’s The Great Beauty has now been crowned with Oscar® glory, reigniting the passion for Italian cinema and placing it once more in the international spotlight. This week, cinemagoers in London can fall in love with Italian cinema all over again, as the Italian film festival Cinema Made In Italy returns to the Ciné Lumière in South Kensington from 5 – 9 March. Audiences can look forward to an enthralling programme of brand new films, as well as a series of lively and thought-provoking Q+A sessions. Cinema Made In Italy is organised by Istituto Luce – Cinecittà’s promotional department in Rome (Filmitalia), and the Italian Cultural Institute in London. This year’s line-up includes ten feature films and one documentary. The full programme is available at: http://www.institut-francais.org.uk/cine-lumiere/whats-on/festivals-series/cinema-made-in-italy/
