Arts & Tannery is an exclusive event that presents the latest trends in leather and has now come to its 18th edition. The two-day fair, showcasing on February 4th and 5th, 2014, from 9 am to 5 pm, will take place in New York’s Midtown Loft and Terrace, at 267 Fifth Avenue on the 11th Floor.

In this occasion the most eclectic Italian tanneries will present their Spring/Summer 2015 collections that have been designed specifically for the American market. All visitors will have the chance to roam from one leather manufacture to the other and admire the incredible artistry with which this material has been transformed in all kinds of ways. The twelves exhibitors are: A Tema Conceria, Accoppiature Pisane, Atlas Conceria, Benericetti, Bo-Pell Conceria, Conceria Urgnano, Mohai Conceria, Natural Pelli, Pellegrini Group, Ri.Pelli Conceria, Sanlorenzo and Ta Bru.

This is a unique opportunity to scout the emerging talents in the field of tannery and keep a watch on the upcoming trends for 2014. The Italian mastery in this field has always set a high benchmark in the world of tannery, as regards both the quality of the material and the technique used to mould it into fashion garments. This year’s trends are styles, colours and fashion philosophies that go by the name of Dunetrip, Uploaded, Sunkissed and Faceframe. All are incredibly alluring, and you must attend the fair to discover what lies behind their names.

In the past, a variety of important fashion designers have attended this event to be inspired for there own creations – some of these include Donna Karan, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Brooks Brother, Jimmy Choo, Tommy Hilfiger, Oscar de la Renta and many more.
